    In the spirit of much of the advice we tend to give here:

    Quote:

    Four Things We Can’t Recover

    The stone after the throw;

    The word after it’s said;

    The occasion after it’s missed;

    The time after it’s gone.”

    How that applies to each of us will vary, obviously, but it is good to keep in mind – and it all is in our own hands, no matter the general situation of our lives. Yes, there are complicating factors, but, in the end, we really can be “agents unto ourselves” – “to act, and not to be acted upon”. We have to consider how our actions impact not just ourselves but also those we love, but we still have the ability not to throw the stone, say the word, miss the occasion and squander the time.

    Thanks Ray!

    It’s great that we can come here and discuss the things that bother us, but more importantly the fellowship and the brotherhood here to help us to do things that will make us happy, kind, and grateful.

    Great advice.
