From the book Prisoners of Our Thoughts

    Quote:

When a catastrophe happens, it’s easy to feel so sorry for yourself that you can’t see anybody around you. But the way out is through your relationships. The way out of misery or obsession is to focus more on what your little boy needs or what your teenagers need or what other people around you need. It’s very hard to do, and often you have to force yourself. But that is the answer to the dilemma of being frozen – at least it’s the answer I found.

Great quote – you really can’t go wrong when you think of others.

Yes, but not at the expense of your well being. You still have to take care of yourself; you still have to get your own needs met in basic ways so then you can serve others.

True. Balance and moderation is required even here.
