I came across an interesting question while doing Family History today.

I found (2) sisters that never married. Together they adopted (2) little girls & lived as a family unit.

Who would they be sealed to?

The same issue must come up when Gay couples raise children.

I have no idea what the PC church answer is — but I love the question.

Human relationships can be so complex.

    Complex, indeed.

Great question, and it shows the impossibility of determining the answers to many of life’s questions during this life – and that policies and even many commandments only can be generalizations for the collective majority.

At Church today, I talked to a former Stake Relief Society President & her husband. He has been a Bishop, HC, Stake President, etc.

I told them of my FH question & the wife said, “this is been one of my issues with the church”. She then said it one of many.

It surprised me that they would be that open with me. It just shows me that there a number of us with questions & issues.

    We should never feel alone.
