Don’t know if this has already been discussed here, but I just read this article today and could so relate to it. It gave a great analogy that paints a picture of what so many of us have gone through and are going through on this forum.

    Thanks Bridget –

I liked the piece, it was very encompassing of many aspects of Faith Crisis. I see her Levee equivalent to a Shelf. The idea of any object that holds our convictions breaking still has the same painful results. The question of what comes next is now the problem. We are all still young in this to know the best answer. We are all experimenting on it.

I have this nagging conviction that 20 – 30 years from now this won’t be the crisis it is presently. Solutions will arrive, enough experiences in it will shift the cultural views, and our era will be a past reference in history. I look forward to that time, not for myself but for families, marriages, wards, neighborhoods and so on. Until then, we get to be the ground breakers. That puts the solution on our side. I kind of like that.
