Podcast #215 – Bill Reel (Mormon Discussion Podcast)

Posted on December 13, 2014 by John C. Snider

We interview Bill Reel, practicing Mormon, defender of the faith, and host of the Mormon Discussion Podcast. We discuss his conversion to Mormonism as a teen, and how he squares the latest scientific and historical revelations with his Mormon beliefs. For more visit:

Halfway through. I wasn’t sure I would like these guys based on their introduction to the episode–they seemed a little one dimensional about religion–but the interview so far has been surprisingly professional, and seems like a win for serious religion. Thanks for sharing!

I just listened to this today and I also was wondering where they were “coming from”, but once they jumped into talking with you it was a good respectable conversation. I enjoyed it.

I wished I worded one answer better (serious flaws) and pushed back on one or two spots better (where they said critics have “proven” the book of Mormon as impossible. Otherwise I was happy with it.

Hind site is 20/20, but I didn’t see anything wrong with your answer. I give you big kudos for putting yourself out there. It is one thing to do your own podcast, but another to go onto someone else’s that isn’t thinking the same way as you. You did an outstanding job.
