Participant😆 It kind of reminds me of something I saw on the news Friday evening. It was a spot about Easter egg hunts and one local pastor (local is relative here since I live in a rural area and the TV station is in a small city some distance away) was talking about their usual helicopter drop of Easter eggs. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of that before, but the next day’s report said thousands of kids showed up. No word on whether the helicopter actually did.April 21, 2019 at 6:44 pm #236480Roy
KeymasterFunny stuff. I half expected him to say, “batten down the hatches!” April 22, 2019 at 2:14 am #236481mom3
ParticipantMy favorite line is “The Easter Basket is Full, but the Tomb is Empty.” April 22, 2019 at 5:12 pm #236482DarkJedi
ParticipantI ward had an Easter egg hunt that I was not part of (there are perks to not having young kids). I was told by a parent friend though that the first part of the hunt involved plastic eggs that were empty – it was that same idea, the egg is empty and so is the tomb. Whatever, I’m not sure many 6-year-olds (or 10-year-olds) would get it. April 22, 2019 at 5:22 pm #236483Roy
KeymasterA local church put on an Easter egg hunt that was really well done. Before they took the kids out to the separate age segregated egg hunt fields, they had a short skit where a young person played the part of the Easter bunny and shared the true meaning of Easter with another young actor. Also, some of the eggs had golden coins inside that could be redeemed for Christian bibles or Christ centered storybooks rather than the large chocolate bunnies or basket of goodies that I have seen given away at some more secular Easter egg hunts. -
