I am a fan of the New York Dolls, along with some other music that’s not particularly wholesome… Anyway, I have heard a few things about Arthur “Killer” Kane converting to Mormonism, but most of the reports were from the outside. How was this viewed by church members, and was it ever much publicised? Did he cut his hair etc?

A great documentary was made about Arthur Kane a few years ago. I saw it when it was in select theaters. (It was just a small independent film) It was all about him hitting rock bottom, and then finding Mormonism. I really enjoyed this film! Definitely a must see if you were a fan. Here is a link.

Did he go completely suit and tie, or did he remain punkish at all?
