The following is one of my favorite Christmas posts ever, written by Kevin Barney at By Common Consent two years ago.

Because there was no room for them in the inn” (http://bycommonconsent.com/2011/12/15/because-there-was-no-room-for-them-in-the-inn/)

Merry Christmas, everyone. May there be room in our inns for all, even those who would exclude us from theirs.

I didn’t see this post before and just read it now. I really liked it. It is a very interesting interpretation of the “no room in the inn” part of the story and adds meaning for me. I especially like his conclusions from that.

I didn’t see this before, either. It really hit home to me, because I can remember a time when I was acting the part of the judgmental relatives. I hope to never make that mistake again. Thanks for posting it.

It took me some time to get around to seeing and reading this, too. Like Daeruin, I was once on the judgemental side, having no room. I have changed and hope I am no longer one with no room.

Thanks for this link. Incidentally, “The Nativity Story” is highly recommended by everyone at our house.
