Who spoke after Elder Christofferson? I think it’s just as well that I didn’t catch it. I caught a whiff of “don’t draw your own conclusions.” It’s all good. Elder Bassett. Yeah, it was a lot of the “trusting God means trusting church versions of history” spiel.
There was some good stuff about trusting God and not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, though.
One other fact about Mary Rollins (thanks, Wikipedia): she lived longer than any of Joseph Smith’s other wives, dying at the age of 95 in 1913. It blows my mind that Joseph Smith’s last widow died a year before World War I began!I don’t know if that’s interesting to anyone else, but it is to me.
