I posted this today in response to a new form of proselyting on mormon.org, a quiz they are using, similar to the FB and Buzzfeed quizzes, only guess what? Haha…that’s great. It doesn’t matter the question, the answer is always…”the Mormons. Yes, the mormons is the correct answer.” Just like the articles published in the Ensign “Answers to ALL tough questions”.I think it is cool the missionary department is pretty innovative. Missionary work through things like Facebook. Our church is cool sometimes.
First and foremost. Make me a nurturing! Now that that’s out of my system. I took the quiz, completely aced the what mormons actually believe portion (even answered the one about non-members going into the temple as depends for the exact reason they ended up highlighting) but answered a big old non-committal “maybe” for all the do you believe this too? questions. I got “moderate.” I get super awesome or whatever if I ace the trivia portion and later agree with all the beliefs. For giggles I retook the quiz and selected the worst answer for the what mormons believe portion but selected that I was 100% on board with the church for the do you believe too portion. Moderate again.
