Unlike bigfoot (Cain) there actually exists several very clear photos of at least one of the three Nephites. Here he is in his uniform of the priesthood:

This was from a W&T poll in 2013. I was pretty surprised that that many of our readers believed it!

The three Nephites are real! My home teacher years ago told our family how they rescued him from a flooded car not far from our home. Thanks for the referring me to your post, hawkgirl. It was fantastic. I love your blogs. Challenges others to think and take action for women’s equality and liberation. Hahah. Nibbler, you have such a great sense of humor. I loved that show The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno growing up. You are absolutely right, Mike. I believe the scriptures in this instance are not correctly interpreted and much more figurative than literal and I wholly doubt the accounts of those who have seen them. I always think of Paul H. Dunn’s story and I’m pretty sure most or all of these accounts are quite similar to that. So from a certain point of view I obviously don’t believe the scriptures of the accounts of apostles and others who have encountered them.

I believe they are myths, just like I believe the scriptures describing giants…

…just like I believe the myth that you can boil a frog by slowly turning up the heat instead of dropping him in boiling water.
Lots of teachings are meaningful, even if based on myths or exaggerated stories to make a point.
I do know they like to change flat tires, deliver cryptic messages, apply band aids and such. Sort of like AAA and the paramedics.
