Participanthttp://religionnews.com/2016/09/09/what-one-bishop-offers-mormons-who-dont-know-the-church-is-true/ ” class=”bbcode_url”> http://religionnews.com/2016/09/09/what-one-bishop-offers-mormons-who-dont-know-the-church-is-true/ I have actually meet him through a family friend. He was a VERY positive and happy guy, but not in a way that made you want to say, “Turn it down dude!” I am not at all shocked it is coming from him.
This is the kind of love and humility that I wish the top church leaders would show.

KeymasterThanks for sharing. He sounds like a great BP. Quote:I also don’t sit across from them from behind my desk, but face to face on the opposite side of my desk.
In the past I’ve referred to a truly excellent BP I once had. He had a similar thing about desks getting in the way. He would sit in one of the chairs beside the people that would come into his office.

ParticipantThanks for sharing LH. I just got around to reading it today and promptly shared it with my SP. September 13, 2016 at 9:03 pm #215674Heber13
ParticipantGood post. Thanks LH. Quote:I believe the Lord wants our church to be a safe and accepting place for all His sons and daughters … not just those that fit the mold.
I believe this also. I truly believe this loving approach is seeping into the minds of members across the church, because it is most closely aligned to gospel truth.
