ParticipantRay, thank you for the time you put into this site, you and all the admins. I enjoy reading your comments and appreciate that I have been able to find people who think and feel like I do. While it has only been a short time since I have found this site, it has been immensely helpful. It’s like therapy for me and I feel strengthened and comforted by all of you. Keep up the good work! 1gentlespirit

To be juvenile about it:
What about your temple covenants?

 I may be your number one fan Nibbler! You are brilliant, just brilliant!

ParticipantNibbler!! BWAHAHA! I love it  Ann and Newlight, thank you. I need a movie trailer to tell the tail of my challenges, it has been quite a ride so far, but I don’t even know where to begin to start intro! I have shed my G’s, been partaking of that sinful coffee and yes, an occasional glass of wine
😮 and gosh dang it, I don’t feel one bit bad about it. I’m still very much in the closet about it, but I am on my way to learning how to just be me and not care about what anyone else thinks I “should” be doing. I am a very good person, my underoos don’t change that!1gentlespirit

You are a Spring Chicken! I am in my 50’s and just figuring out that I need to be more of just who I am and not playing the part I THINK I am supposed to.
Can we get a “like” button on here!😆 I see I will be learning a lot from you all:clap: 1gentlespirit
ParticipantThank you all for the warm welcome! A couple things reached out to me, Darkjedi-“Let go of the guilt and be who you are”. Thank you for that. It is a very profound statement and stirs my very soul. And Mike, yes I agree it is important to find my place in this world and in this church, it just saddens me and I find it very frightening to be 36 years old and just now figuring that out and I have no idea how to do it! I do know that the few hours I have spent on this site today, have made me feel hope and given me strength to be me. -
