I found the Pearson talk to be quite insulting and potentially harmful to the masses. Perhaps one of the worst GC messages since GC October 2011 with the 14 Fs of the Prophet and the Two Lines of Communication.

I didnt care for Hales or Perry message. Otherwise, i have no real problems with the other speeches.

Urchtdorf Sunday speech was very good IMO.

I was directing my DHO quote at a specific comment made by Roy. I have edited my post by quoting Roy, so as not to be considered a “troll” or appear to “misrepresent” or accused of “drive by bombing.”.

I think an apology shows humility….an apology it would start the forgiving process, but without it the grudge festers. I remember as a teen I would quickly apologize to my friends and our problem resolved…

I agree. It’s a quite simple and elementary principle really.

Silentdawning – that was a very good post. Accurate, IMO.

Ray – why not just let the discussion go where it goes? You don’t have to control the discussion on every thread in this forum.

Why does the church expect us to apologize. But refuse to apologize for their mistakes?

I was glad to see them quote Pope Francis as well as Nelson Mandela. Those are two of the great prophets of our time.

We’re all in different places on our paths, cwald. Perhaps DHO just hasn’t gained an understanding of this principle yet.

Maybe. But that is a sad thought… since he is an apostle of God’s one and only true church on the earth.

Maybe Mom3 needs be called as an apostle in the COJCOLDS?

Oh brother Ray. You really have it out for me don’t you. Give me a break.

Who is preaching? I simply answered the question posed by Orson and Heber…explained the belief of pantheism in relation to THEIR question about a pantheistic “CRURCH.”
