ParticipantI was born into the church and grew up in it, I just felt the spirit and just accepted what I was taught. I didn’t go on a mission, I got married at 19 sealed in the temple, have children, and have served as young men’s counselor, elders quorum president, ward clerk and nursery. I’m just starting to deeply look more into the creation which is very interesting, also I love the topic of the second coming, love walking dead, family guy etc. Kings of Leon and foo fighters best music. But I’m VERY GRATEFUL for what life skills I’ve learnt from church EnglishMormon
ParticipantOk, we had some American missionaries come over and during a group conversation my brother in-law (who is single) but again very active good testimony was told the girls would love him over at Utah, he said he didn’t serve a mission and then the elders said “oh they won’t like you because you haven’t served”. Another missionary said he felt like he had to go on a mission because of the pressure of serving back home because his dad and brothers all served.
