ParticipantAll good points. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantThere is a new version, but I don’t know where you can find it. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantWayfarer, I’m not going to actually live off the grid. I was just asking the question hypothetically with our strong reliance on the government, but yet the government is hanging by a thread and you will probably fall eventually. This is just a hypothetical question. I will continue working on getting Medicare with patience, persistence, and prayer, so I don’t plan on living off the grid now or anytime in the future. ParticipantI know what you mean, Cadence. I read an article about hunter gatherers in Raw-Food-Health.net. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantThanks the comments. Sorry if it seemed off in some way. I was just venting because with me trying to get Medicare started up again which I do need really badly. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantYeah, you’re probably right. I was just thinking about that today after having a stressful day. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantYes, I would agree with that, wayfarer. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantI was just stating my belief of how I was originally taught the fall of Adam and Eve was a literal event. That doesn’t bother me that different people believe differently about the event. We all have different degrees of faith and spiritual knowledge of Gospel principles and I strongly believe that God will judge us all righteously when all is said and done. I pray me and all of you will have eternal life. It’s been a good discussion. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantI believe the story was to be taken literally. Parts of it don’t make sense, but I guess that’s why we’re supposed to accept Gospel teachings on faith. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantThanks. These are interesting insights. I always thought we were supposed to take the Garden of Eden as literal. At least, that’s always what I thought. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantSorry about my reply. I meant to post that as a separate post, which I will. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantIf the fall of Adam and Eve was supposed to happen to bring us into mortality to become like Heavenly Father, then why didn’t Heavenly Father just say to them partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Why did Satan say it? And if we’re supposed to dress modestly then why did Satan tell Adam and Eve they were naked after partaking of the fruit? If these things are part of Heavenly Father’s plan then why didn’t he say those things? Even after hearing various explanations by the church, these things don’t make any sense to me. Your thoughts? Ilovechrist77
ParticipantYeah, I guess the only thing we can do is pray about the book and add it to our faith and testimony of Christ when we feel the Spirit. Thanks for the comments. December 25, 2011 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Sexual Transgression and Dwelling Together in Love #149036Ilovechrist77
ParticipantI know myself I’m a recovering sex addict. I’ve done those things that only involved me. So I haven’t confessed every slip-up I had. Sometimes I believe the Holy Ghost will tell you to keep quite. I could be wrong about that. Ilovechrist77
ParticipantI went this morning! A wonderful session! Their were quite a few Christmas songs sang by the choir! Have a merry Christmas, everyone! -
