ParticipantFor what it’s worth, the Church of Jesus Christ (Bickertonite) Church has Deaconesses. Their roles include making sure the meeting house is in order, lead music and have other roles. I believe they have had Deaconesses way longer than the RLDS/Community of Christ and other groups. JamesFromMI
ParticipantI’ve been thinking about this myself lately. Funny that there is a thread about it.. My repentance list is long but I don’t let it bother me. I know I am not perfect, my long term spot in the Kingdom is not certain but I know I am good enough. Let’s just think about the world of coin collecting as an example. Coin collectors can’t always get that perfectly graded and verified coin for their collections. The ones that look too good to be true are usually fakes. In my case, I am that lesser grade, one looks like it spent time being passed around for 100 years.. it is authentic, but dirty/worn.. Good enough for most collectors.
I’m good enough, I’m trying to live good but it doesn’t always work out. I have undesirable traits, but I think many people do because we are human. I’m a product of my environment and experience. I wouldn’t change a thing. I wouldn’t be me if my experiences were different. Once we quit comparing ourselves to that most righteous neighbor in the pew over, we actually start living and improving. God is patient with me, God is excited when I finally do something right. God is patient with you too.. live your life without regrets and never stop trying. Repent in your own way if that helps you move on.

ParticipantI think there is possibilities from Sacrament blessings from home. Community of Christ has made this possible very recently.. Quote:Online Participation in the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper
“Technology presents opportunities for involvement in sacraments by priesthood members
and participants in separate locations” (2019 words of counsel). This may occur in many ways.
The following principles should be observed when planning and providing online participation in
the Lord’s Supper:
1. Real-time online participation in the Lord’s Supper is considered the same as being in the
single physical location.
2. The emblems should be physically present for all those wishing to partake.
3. A priest or Melchisedec priesthood member should read the prayer(s) of blessing on the
emblems so that those in all locations experience the blessing(s) through sight and sound,
closed-captioning, or sound only. Also, participants in all locations should be encouraged
to kneel, if possible.
With all of the Priesthood that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has, I would imagine that live, in person blessings would be what they would prefer. This is where your Ministering Brothers would come into play.
