I’m glad I found this community. My family members aren’t very religious, so it’s difficult for me to discuss this with them. I was feeling, as my name says, like a lost sheep. I read all of your replies and felt my heart warm with support and compassion from you all. 
I just called him and talked to him about how I felt, and he said that he would respect my desicion and do his best to support me. I hope that this will start a new chapter in my life, and maybe his as well, but I will not force his hand… I love him deeply. Forgive me for the awkward and somewhat hurried reply, but I just wanted to thank you so much for your support. I really need it. This group is amazing…. And I hope you don’t mind the presence of a young adult who has lots of questions.
